Reddit isn’t always an easy sell to marketing managers. For starters, it’s an objectively ugly website/app, with a UI that conjures memories of Web 1.0 (MySpace, LiveJournal, Craigslist et al). It can also be tricky for new users to get the hang of, particularly compared to more modern social platforms such as TikTok. And it’s never been particularly ‘cool’ or buzzed-over; no internet celebs have ever risen to fame on Reddit. Even sensible, straightlaced LinkedIn has its own A-list influencers and stars.
Having said all that, Reddit might just be the best untapped marketing resource you engage
